VANO SOLID SURFACE BATHTUB SHELF – DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY IN ONE
The VANO bathtub shelf is a stylish alternative to traditional shelves made from bamboo, wood or metal. It is crafted from Solid Surface, a material that provides a smooth, uniform and non-porous surface resistant to water and moisture. Its minimalist shape and matte finish give it an elegant, timeless appearance.
This solution is designed for those who expect not only a practical place for toiletries and bathing accessories but also high-quality craftsmanship, durability and a cohesive bathroom design.
VANO is a modern bathtub shelf made from Solid Surface, designed to enhance everyday comfort and the aesthetics of the bathing area. Its dimensions of 850 × 220 mm provide ample space for toiletries, bathing accessories and other essentials you may want to keep within reach during a relaxing bath.
Its slim design, measuring just 12 mm in thickness, and uniform matte surface make the shelf an ideal complement to modern bathtubs and bathroom furnishings. Available in 7 Solid Surface colours, it can be matched to the colour of the bathtub, washbasin and other interior elements.
The product requires no installation, making it convenient for everyday use.
SOLID SURFACE – MATERIAL AND PROPERTIES
The smooth, non-porous surface limits the absorption of dirt, moisture and cosmetic residue. As a result, everyday cleaning requires only a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and a mild detergent.
The colour of Solid Surface extends throughout the entire structure of the material rather than being limited to a thin decorative layer. This means that gentle surface restoration does not reveal a contrasting layer underneath.
The VANO shelf stands apart from conventional bathtub shelves. Instead of a traditional structure made from bamboo slats, wood or metal components, it features a solid, uniform Solid Surface design with a minimalist matte finish.
Its clean geometry and subtle 12 mm thickness give the shelf a visually lightweight appearance, emphasising the elegant character of the bathing area. The model perfectly complements minimalist, Japandi and modern classic interiors, as well as bathrooms inspired by luxury hotels and SPA environments.
The ability to match the shelf's colour to Solid Surface bathtubs and washbasins makes it possible to create a cohesive, harmonious bathroom design.
WATER-RESISTANT AND RESISTANT TO WARPING
Solid Surface does not absorb water like natural wood, so it does not swell or warp under regular exposure to moisture. Unlike shelves made from bamboo or wood, it does not require periodic oiling or renewal of protective coatings.
The material does not corrode and maintains its shape under typical bathroom conditions. This solution combines durability with everyday convenience without the need for additional maintenance.

Unlike natural wood and bamboo, it does not require periodic oiling or renewal of protective coatings against moisture. An additional advantage is the possibility of localised surface restoration.

The white sponge supplied with the product is intended for everyday cleaning and maintenance of the Solid Surface using water and a mild detergent.
The blue abrasive sponge is intended exclusively for localised restoration of minor scratches and should not be used for everyday cleaning, as it may cause unwanted dulling of the surface.
For black finishes, restoration may additionally require the use of petroleum jelly.
For everyday cleaning, a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and a mild detergent are sufficient.
