It is created from a combination of resins, minerals and pigments, giving it a smooth, non-porous surface with a uniform structure throughout its thickness. Compared with ceramic, Solid Surface is less prone to chipping and allows for local repair. Unlike mineral cast, it does not rely solely on a thin layer of external gelcoat for its properties.

Spilled cosmetics, soap, toothpaste or staining substances are best wiped away quickly so they don't remain on the surface for long. For everyday cleaning, a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and a mild detergent are enough. After washing, rinse the surface with clean water and dry it, which will reduce limescale build-up.
